COSTA MESA NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
The Costa Mesa Police Department is holding National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. What is National Night Out? It’s a way to make the community more aware of ways to stay safe and how to avoid and prevent crime and drug activity. National Night Out is a way for the community to show support for the local police force.
Each Costa Mesa Neighborhood can do their part too. The Costa Mesa Police Department has a Neighborhood Watch Program that members of the community can join. According to their website, “As a participant in the Neighborhood Watch Program, you will become better acquainted with your neighbors.” Several Costa Mesa Neighborhoods will be sponsoring events and we’ve listed a couple below.
