Costa Mesa Police Department And The Community Hold National Night Out

COSTA MESA NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

The Costa Mesa Police Department is holding National Night Out on Tuesday, August 3, 2010. What is National Night Out? It’s a way to make the community more aware of ways to stay safe and how to avoid and prevent crime and drug activity. National Night Out is a way for the community to show support for the local police force.

NEIGHBORHOOD SAFETY

Each Costa Mesa Neighborhood can do their part too. The Costa Mesa Police Department has a Neighborhood Watch Program that members of the community can join. According to their website, “As a participant in the Neighborhood Watch Program, you will become better acquainted with your neighbors.”  Several Costa Mesa Neighborhoods will be sponsoring events and we’ve listed a couple below. Let’s keep Costa Mesa safe.
